GPR135 is a 494 amino acid multi-pass membrane protein that belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family. Expressed in brain, eye, testis, cervix and testis, GPR135 shares high sequence homology with mouse and rat GPR135. The gene encoding GPR135 maps to human chromosome 14q23.1 and mouse chromosome 12 C3. Function: Orphan receptor. Subcellular Location: Cell membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein.
